Measure the chest at the widest point behind the front legs and match it to the size chart. Between two sizes, go up.

The wide neck and sleeveless cut is the most cat-tolerated costume design. Cats who refuse all clothing do better in the tie-on pumpkin cape.

Soft stretch opening, no rigid parts, breathable plush lining. Correct fit from the chest measurement matters most.

Cold gentle cycle or hand wash, air dry.

It is a short shoulder cape with an adjustable tie, so it is very forgiving. Measure the neck. The length is how far it sits down the shoulders.

One size, velcro at the back. The padded bonnet wraps around the head so the face sits in the middle of the pumpkin. Measure around the head just above the ears.

The little cap in the Cape and Cap Set has a white elastic that goes under the chin. The elastic stops at 16 inches, so it is a cat and small dog piece only.

Chest first, weight second

Two dogs at the same weight can be shaped completely differently, so the tape measure wins every time. Weight is just a sanity check on what the tape told you.

Fluffy pets, size up

Long coats, deep chests, and anyone growing their winter fur should take the bigger size. Roomy looks great in photos. Tight does not, and they will tell you about it.

Honestly? About 45 seconds of pure betrayal, then treats happen and everyone moves on. There are no sleeves and the neck is wide, which is why cats put up with this one. If yours is truly not having it, the tie-on cape is the easier sell.
